Buju Banton has officially released his new single Butterflies, marking another significant chapter in the reggae icon’s illustrious career.
Released on April 17 through Gargamel Music under an exclusive licensing agreement with VP Records, the song serves as the first glimpse into Buju’s forthcoming album expected later this year.
The release also marks his return to VP Records after nearly two decades, rekindling a partnership that helped shape some of the most successful periods of his career.
Produced by renowned hitmaker Supa Dups, Butterflies blends classic reggae and dancehall elements with contemporary production, creating an uplifting and feel-good record that showcases Buju Banton’s unmistakable vocals and timeless artistry.
