Joana Gyan Cudjoe Parts Ways With Keche Global After Seven Years

Amenfi Central MP and businesswoman Joana Gyan Cudjoe has officially ended her seven-year professional relationship with Ghanaian music duo Keche Global.

The partnership, which began in 2019, saw Joana Gyan Cudjoe serve as the group’s investor, manager and executive producer, playing a major role in the development and expansion of the duo’s career.

In a statement issued on Monday, August 31, 2026, through GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd, Joana Gyan Cudjoe announced that the agreement had expired and confirmed that she would not be renewing or extending the partnership. As a result, Keche Global will now operate independently without her financial, managerial and business support.

Joana Gyan Cudjoe explained that the decision was purely professional and was made with peace, humility, kindness, love and respect. She also stressed that the separation was not due to any fight, hatred or controversy. Over the course of their seven-year partnership, she said she invested substantially in Keche’s career, supporting the duo with music recording and production, music videos, marketing, branding, artiste development, travel, performances and other creative projects.

She also revealed that she changed the group’s name from Keche to Keche Global as part of her vision to expand their brand beyond Ghana and reach a wider international audience. Despite bringing their professional relationship to an end, Joana Gyan Cudjoe noted that her personal and family relationship with the group remains intact.

Keche Andrew, born Andrew Kofi Cudjoe, is her husband, while Joshua Kojo Ampah is the second member of the duo. “KECHE WILL ALWAYS BE FAMILY,” the statement read, as she wished the group success in the next phase of their career.

Meanwhile, Joana Gyan Cudjoe is set to redirect her resources and experience towards new ventures under GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd. Her future plans include discovering and developing emerging talents, producing music, investing in creative projects and creating opportunities for promising African artistes.

Her next chapter is to identify, develop and promote African talent from Ghana to the rest of the continent and the world. The end of the partnership marks a significant new chapter for both Joana Gyan Cudjoe and Keche Global, with the duo now set to continue their musical journey independently.
