Grammy-winning artiste, T-Pain, has revealed that he recently bought a plane after securing a massive payday from selling his music catalog. A deal he says was so significant it would have taken him a century to earn the same amount on his own.

Speaking on Club Shay Shay, the hitmaker opened up about the life changing transaction. According to him, the offer he received for his catalog was nothing short of extraordinary.

“The amount of money that they gave me for my catalog (smile) it literally would have took me 100 years to make that money,” T-Pain stated during the interview.

The deal marks another major move in the growing trend of artistes cashing out on their catalogs, with many viewing it as a strategic financial decision and trading long-term royalties for immediate, generational wealth.

For T-Pain, the payoff has already translated into a major personal milestone - purchasing his own plane.

His revelation has sparked conversations online about the evolving economics of the music industry and how artistes are redefining financial independence in an era of streaming and catalog valuations.
