Popular Ghanaian actor and musician, Lil Win, was involved in a car accident on Saturday, May 25, 2024, in Kumasi. The incident occurred while he was on his way to the premiere of his latest movie, A COUNTRY CALLED GHANA, at Amakom.

According to eyewitnesses, Lil Win's car collided head-on with another vehicle, leaving him and two passengers injured. A child in the other car sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Lil Win, whose real name is Kwadwo Nkansah, expressed gratitude to everyone who supported him, stating that it was only by God's grace that he survived the crash.
Despite the accident, the premiere of A COUNTRY CALLED GHANA proceeded as planned, with fans and colleagues showing their support for the actor.
Lil Win is known for his comedic roles in Ghanaian movies and has a large following in the country. Fans have taken to social media to wish him a speedy recovery.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
