Mustard Launches Signature Condiment Line with Heinz Collaboration
Dj Mustard
Renowned music producer Mustard, born Dijon McFarlane, has teamed up with Heinz to release a limited-edition condiment line, featuring a chipotle honey mustard dubbed HEINZ MUSTAAAAAARD, inspired by his viral moniker from Kendrick Lamar’s hit song TV OFF. The collaboration, announced in February 2025, marks Heinz’s first new mustard offering in a decade and is available exclusively at Amazon, Target, and Walmart while supplies last. Mustard, named the brand’s “Chief Mustard Officer,” celebrated the launch with a campaign featuring the iconic “MUSTAAAAARD” yell from TV OFF, which went viral following the song’s November 2024 release. The producer, known for hits like NOT LIKE US, expressed his excitement, stating, “This collab coming to life is a big deal and something that has been decades in the making for me.” The chipotle honey mustard, blending sweet and smoky flavors, has already generated buzz, with fans praising its bold taste on social media platforms like X, where posts announced its availability at major retailers. The partnership, which began with a Grammy Awards campaign, also saw Mustard make a cameo during Kendrick Lamar’s record-breaking Super Bowl halftime show, amplifying the condiment’s cultural moment. Todd Kaplan, Kraft Heinz’s North American Chief Marketing Officer, lauded Mustard’s creative energy, noting, “He has brought the same energy and commitment he pours into all of his music to this partnership.” The sauce, initially rolled out at Buffalo Wild Wings in June, is positioned as a summer grilling staple, with Heinz aiming to expand its flavor innovation beyond its ketchup legacy.
