Ghanaian comedian and entertainer OB Amponsah has announced that he will no longer be part of Dr Likee’s upcoming London show due to visa-related challenges.
In a statement shared on social media, OB Amponsah revealed that despite discussions about the event beginning as far back as August, the organizers were unable to secure his visa in time for the show scheduled for Friday.
“My People, I’m not gonna make it to Dr Likee’s London show on Friday. The event organizers couldn’t secure my visa,” he wrote.

The comedian also apologized to fans for the disappointment, admitting that this marks the second time this year he has missed an international appearance because of visa issues.
“I apologize for the disappointment. I realize this is the second time this year and it’s not cool,” he added.
Despite the setback, OB Amponsah remained optimistic and hinted at plans to organize his own show in London later this year. According to him, preparations are already underway, with hopes of meeting fans in August or September.
“I believe it is signs for me to plan my own show in London and we are working on it. We will definitely see each other in August/September this year, I promise,” he stated.
He also encouraged fans to still attend Dr Likee’s event, describing the comedian as “hilarious.”
The announcement has sparked reactions online, with many fans sympathizing with the comedian over the recurring visa difficulties while expressing excitement about the possibility of an independent London show from OB Amponsah later this year.
