Joining the effort, actor Jeremy Allen White amplified the cause by sharing the GoFundMe link on his Instagram story, rallying further support for the initiative.

The urgency stems from an email circulated by Waterwell Director of Education, Heather Lanza, addressing PPAS parents and students. The email disclosed that the beloved program faces imminent cuts following a distressing 20% reduction in its budget for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. Now, with Roc Nation, Alicia Keys, and other advocates on board, hopes are high for a brighter future for NYC's budding artistes.
