Ghanaian rapper Kojo Cue has released a brand-new single titled TONTONTE that’s already sparking conversations across the music scene. The track, which features rising star AratheJay and legendary highlife icon Ofori Amponsah, is now available on all major streaming platforms.
Billed as a collaboration between three generations of genius, the record beautifully blends Kojo Cue's lyrical dexterity, AratheJay's refreshing contemporary sound, and Ofori Amponsah's timeless melodies. The result is a genre-bending track that bridges hip-hop, highlife, and Afrofusion, an intergenerational conversation told through music.
Kojo Cue has been subtly hinting that he is in “album mode,” and this release only fuels speculation about what could be his most ambitious project yet. If this single is any indication, fans can expect an album that highlights his artistry and celebrates the broader legacy of Ghanaian music through diverse collaborations.
With a reputation for being one of Ghana’s most thoughtful lyricists, Kojo Cue continues to push creative boundaries, proving that his music resonates with both older and younger generations. This collaboration underscores his ability to bring artistes from different eras together for something fresh, soulful, and forward-looking.
The single is now available on all major streaming platforms.
