Today, he has released the first one titled QUEST FOR FIRE.
Sonny Moore, better known by his stage name Skrillex, hasn't put out an album in nine years. ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE AND BROSTEP, the first track of his 2014 debut album RECESS, was a knowing reference to the sarcastic nickname for the dubstep-derived style that made him famous.
Among well-known EDM artistes, Skrillex stands out. In addition to mainstream celebrities like Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran, hip pop musicians like Beyoncé, the Weeknd, PinkPantheress, and FKA twigs have also expressed interest in his services as a producer.
QUEST FOR FIRE has 15 tracks and the guest list checks off all the boxes for notable dance album contributors with rappers such as Missy Elliott and Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd.
A list of features projected on billboards in Japan indicates that Kid Cudi, Justin Bieber, and other artistes will be on Skrillex's releases later in 2023.
