In a dazzling twist at her Cowboy Carter tour stop in Paris, Beyoncé shocked fans by inviting Miley Cyrus onstage at Stade de France to perform their Grammy-winning country-pop single II MOST WANTED live for the very first time.
Midway through the show, Beyoncé dramatically introduced Cyrus, calling her “Miss Miley Cyrus” and expressing heartfelt gratitude: “I’m so excited… I’m so grateful to sing with you.” The announcement ignited the crowd as the pair emerged in matching all-gold ensembles, blending pop glamour with cowboy flair.
The electrifying duet marked Cyrus’s first-ever live performance of the song, which they co-wrote in 2021 and released in April 2024 on Beyoncé’s genre-bending album Cowboy Carter. The track took home the Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, cementing its impact.
Paris fans had more to celebrate: Cyrus, in town to promote her album Something Beautiful, was also recently inducted into the Spotify Billions Club, making the surprise appearance even more momentous.
Expressing her elation on Instagram, Cyrus wrote that performing with Beyoncé was “a dream come true,” calling her “a humble, gracious, legendary DIVA” and adding, “I’ll be your shotgun rider for life.”
Styled by icons like Mugler, Schiaparelli, and Alaïa, the duo’s shimmering stagewear captured the Western glam essence of Cowboy Carter—a tour aesthetic celebrated for breaking genre boundaries.
As Beyoncé wraps the European leg and heads back to the U.S., fans are buzzing over what other surprises the tour and her powerhouse collaborations may still hold.
