Police in Los Angeles have arrested a 30-year-old woman after multiple gunshots were fired near the home of global superstar, Rihanna, on Sunday afternoon.
According to authorities, officers responded to reports of gunfire at the singer’s residence in the upscale Beverly Hills area on March 8, 2026. Investigators say the suspect allegedly fired several rounds from a vehicle parked near the property before fleeing the scene.
At least one bullet reportedly struck part of the residence’s exterior wall. Rihanna was inside the home at the time of the incident but was not injured.
The suspect was later taken into custody by officers from the Los Angeles Police Department without further incident. Authorities say a weapon believed to have been used in the shooting has been recovered.
While no injuries were reported, the motive behind the shooting remains unclear as investigations continue.
The disturbing incident has raised concerns about celebrity safety in high-profile neighbourhoods such as Beverly Hills, where many entertainment figures maintain residences.
Rihanna, a Grammy-winning singer and business mogul known for hits like UMBRELLA and DIAMOND, has not yet publicly commented on the incident.
