South African global superstar Tyla is set to release her highly anticipated sophomore album, Apop, on Friday, July 24, 2026.

The 14-track project will arrive via FAX Records under exclusive licence to Epic Records, marking the next major chapter in the career of the Grammy-winning singer following her self-titled debut album released in 2024.

The album has already been preceded by singles including Chanel, Is It, Is It Love and She Did It Again, which features Swedish pop star Zara Larsson.

According to the album's official description, Apop is designed as a bold evolution of Tyla's sound, blending amapiano, pop and R&B while presenting African music as a central force in global pop culture.

The upcoming album follows Tyla's rapid rise from her global breakthrough with Water to becoming one of Africa's biggest international music exports.

The project is expected to feature 14 tracks, with the full tracklist and additional collaborations generating significant anticipation among fans.

With the release date now confirmed, attention is firmly on Tyla as she prepares to launch what could become one of the biggest African pop albums of 2026.
