Ariana Grande Ends Eternal Sunshine Tour With Emotional Farewell In London

Ariana Grande concluded her Eternal Sunshine Tour on Tuesday night with a tearful final performance at London’s O2 Arena, marking the end of 41 shows and her planned step back from public life.

The pop star became visibly emotional at several points during the concert, particularly while performing One Last Time.

The song has taken on deeper meaning for survivors of the 2017 Manchester Arena terror attack. Kneeling toward the audience, Grande asked the London crowd for their support as she sang.

Addressing fans midway through the show, she expressed gratitude for the tour, calling it one of the most beautiful and extraordinary experiences of her life.

“I’ll cherish this experience always. I have the best fans in the entire world and I always have,” she said while trying not to sob.

The 10-night London residency closed the three-month tour that began in the United States in June. Grande had previously confirmed she would take a break from public-facing work and appearances after the final shows, citing ongoing public scrutiny.

She performed the last concert in flat boots rather than her usual heels after sustaining a minor foot injury earlier in the run.
