Jeffrey Nortey Arrives In Amsterdam Ahead Of Ghana Party In The Park Performance

Ghanaian actor and content creator Jeffrey Nortey has arrived in Amsterdam ahead of his scheduled performance at Ghana Party in the Park on Friday, 4 September.

The annual event, organised by Akwaaba Holland, will take place at the Vondelpark Openluchttheater and will bring together Ghanaians and friends of Ghana for music, food, entertainment and cultural activities. The venue’s 2026 programme also lists Ghana Party in the Park for 4 September.

Jeffrey Nortey is expected to present his comedy, character work and storytelling during the event, including elements of his popular Dragon character.

The Amsterdam appearance adds to a series of international engagements for the actor, who has built a following through acting, comedy, filmmaking and digital content.

His participation comes a few months after the third edition of 3 Faces of Jeffrey Nortey, which was held at the National Theatre in Accra on 12 June.

The production combined film, live theatre and character performance and was reported to have sold out.

The 2026 edition of 3 Faces of Jeffrey Nortey was built around three forms of storytelling, film, stage and street, reflecting his work across different areas of the creative industry.

Ghana Party in the Park is positioned as a platform for the Ghanaian community in the Netherlands to celebrate aspects of the country’s culture. The festival features music alongside food, fashion, cultural activities, and entertainment.

Jeffrey Nortey will perform alongside other Ghanaian talents on the entertainment lineup, including musician Kweku Darlington.

His appearance is expected to give him an opportunity to connect with Ghanaian audiences outside the country while taking his character-driven performances and storytelling to a wider international audience.
