Ghanaian Afropop act Bill Gucci has released his first single of 2026 titled Bad Energy, cementing his name as an one of the country's emerging voices of Afropop.
Produced by Khendi Beatz, Bad Energy takes a Dancehall rhythm blended with Afro-swing.
The song revolves around street survival, relentless hustling, and self-preservation. It talks about navigating a dangerous, cutthroat environment while striving for financial success and a better life.
Bill Gucci has said the record is part of a larger vision of consistency and growth into 2026.
He also says the song is a glimpse into another side of his artistry, showing his growth as a musician and his desire to reach a wider audience.
