Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the inaugural cover star of Billboard France. This accomplishment precedes his anticipated performance at France’s iconic Stade de France on April 18th, 2025, where he will be the first non-Francophone African artiste to headline the venue. 

Burna Boy, born Damini Ogulu, has garnered international acclaim with his unique “Afrofusion” sound, a blend of Afrobeat and hip-hop that has resonated with audiences worldwide. His discography boasts over 7 billion Spotify streams, and he secured a Grammy Award for his album Twice as Tall in 2021.
