Ghanaian Chef Abby Abena Amoakoaa Sintim, known to her 1.4 million TikTok followers as @chefabbys, has been selected for TIME’s prestigious 2025 100 Creators list, standing alongside global influencers like Kai Cenat and Khabane Lame. Below, we dive into what makes her inclusion so significant.




Chef Abby transcends the typical cooking‑video formula. Her content, boasting more than 31 million likes is a rich blend of education, nostalgia, and culinary challenge. She’s not just sharing recipes; she’s weaving stories of Ghanaian culture, bridging generational cooking traditions with modern techniques that resonate globally.



Early this year, she landed on TikTok’s Discover List, becoming the only Ghanaian featured among 50 creators shaping global culture. 
Her influence took her to the Cannes Film Festival, where she participated in Nestlé–TikTok creator panels alongside figures like Keith Lee and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew, showcasing “soft Ghana kenkey” to an international audience  .
At Cannes, she was also recognized as Food Creator of the Year at the WIBA Awards.

Though Chef Abby’s entry doesn’t have a standalone profile yet on TIME.com, her place on the TIME 100 Creators list confirms her influence extends far beyond culinary circles.
