Ckay Announces New Ep, CKAY THE SECOND

Nigerian Afrobeats singer CKay has officially announced the release of his upcoming EP, CKay The Second, scheduled to drop on June 13th, 2025.

In a recent social media post, CKay emphasized his commitment to innovation in African music, stating, “If I made music like those before me, what would be the point? From day one, my mission has been to push African music forward in a way that is fresh, bold, and different. That vision hasn’t changed.” He further described CKay The Second as “twice as nice,” signaling a new chapter in his artistic evolution.

The upcoming EP is expected to blend CKay’s signature Emo-Afrobeats style with elements of R&B and alternative pop. CKay has described the project as deeply personal, stating, “I have always made music that feels honest, sometimes too honest. This project holds nothing back. It reflects exactly where I am right now”.

Fans can pre-save CKay The Second ahead of its June 13th release and anticipate a project that not only showcases CKay’s growth as an artiste but also his dedication to pushing the boundaries of African music on the global stage.
