Ghanaian comic actor and creative powerhouse, Clemento Suarez has once again proven his remarkable talent after winning Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the 2025 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) held in Nigeria.

The celebrated actor was honoured for his outstanding performance in a role that showcased his depth, versatility and mastery of character interpretation cementing his place as one of the most dynamic performers in African cinema.

Clemento Suarez, whose real name is Clement Ashiteye, has long been admired for his exceptional ability to blend humour with emotional authenticity. His award marks yet another milestone in a career that continues to inspire young creatives across the continent.
