Nigeria’s music stars continue to shine brightly on world stages, from sold-out tours to NBA Allstar weekend performances and now, DreamvilleFest, which was held over the weekend and saw star-studded performances from several A-listers including Drake, Usher and Waka Flocka Flame and a surprise performance from Lil Wayne. However, the icing on the cake was seeing two of Nigeria’s superstars, Burna Boy and Ayra Starr perform live at the coveted festival.
While Burna Boy had the crowd mesmerized with his energetic performance of some of his hit songs including 2022’s Last Last while Ayra Starr had the crowd chanting along to her latest anthem, Sabi Girl.
This seems to be just the beginning
for Nigerian music with the return of Davido and his chart-topping album and
Burna Boy and Ayra Starr making the weekend’s highlights yet again for the ever-growing
Afrobeats genre and Naija Music.
