They
say when life hands you a lemon, you make lemonade and Ghanaian rapper Medikal
is living up to this adage.
Born
Samuel Frimpong and popularly known as Medikal, he was detained and incarcerated
for five days for having a Ruger 9mm Pistol and posting a video of it on
Snapchat in 2021.
During
his imprisonment, he found the inspiration to write a song which he has titled GHETTO
PRAYER. According to reports, the song gives insight into Medikal's experiences behind bars. A visualizer to the song has been released on YouTube and has
already amassed 36,000 views.
GHETTO
PRAYER is one of the songs on his next album, PLANNING AND PLOTTING INTERLUDE.
