After three successful installments, Labadi Music, Samfido Lifestyle and Band Wagon Live team up with 3Media Networks for Merchmania 4: The Culture. The streetwear pop-hop/concert is an initiative championed by rapper and businessman $pacely and is designed to highlight indie urban wear brands as well as emerging talented artistes.
One question! ARE YOU READY?!
This year Merchmania is being done in
conjunction with 3Media Networks. The media house is popularly known for its interest
in and efforts towards promoting innovative projects and activations that
represent the urban youth and culture.
The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, 2nd December 2022 and promises to be a jam-packed rave starting at noon and ending at 11pm. Fans are looking forward to meeting their favourite streetwear brands like Alchemy, Sqad, Three and Three and Rjz’s Rocket Supply. These brands are stakeholders in urban culture, styling musicians like King Promise, WizKid, Marince Omario amongst others.
Many other fashion houses will be present
to showcase the latest in urban clothes from Ghana.
What makes this different from other instalments
of the Merchmania series is the stellar line-up of female DJs. These include
Bad Gal Bob and Araba OA (BUTIMNOTADJ) who are notorious for taking Palm
Moments’ Fake Friday by storm.
DJ Mic Smith is also set to power through
the night with his energetic mashups. There will also be mixes from Wanzam DJ,
DJ Spicy and DJ Sydney.
Performances will be divided into two sets with first set starting at 4:30pm and featuring the finest in emerging talents - Manu J, Boistory, Link Up Daddy, The Offis, Dan Drizzy and more.
The second and electrifying set will see Pappy Kojo, Kirani Ayat, Marince Omario, J Derobie, Twitch 4Eva, Lasmid, Baaba J and Yung D3mz lined up to lead the crowd to a euphoric climax.
$pacely will then be joined by La Même
Gang and some surprise acts to create an unforgettable experience.
The party continues at Marince Omario’s
headline concert, GBONYO PARTY.
