Long time radio presenter Andrew Nana Ofori also known as Nana Lion has returned to Pluzz 89.9 FM with a renewed energy on the dial.

Nana Lion whose media presence spans over a decade, was the former host of the exciting Drive With The AreaGang show.

He is most recognized for his energetic vibe and humour on radio which resonates with loyal listeners of Pluzz 89.9 FM.

During an appearance on Culture Daily on 3Music TV, Nana Lion expressed excitement about his return to Pluzz 89.9 FM, promising authenticity.

“There's one thing that I can promise everybody; it is authenticity. It is what I intend to serve everybody, because if I'm supposed to behave like somebody that I am not, it will not last. Eventually, it will fade off and all of that. And if I look at my first stint with the business, I'm thinking that was what we served and that was what people really got themselves attached to the most. It was the authenticity that we brought on board. So, yes, I am promising a lot of hard work, a lot of consistency, but topping all of them will be being myself, being very authentic,” Nana Lion said.

He also revealed that he will be back on the Drive With AreaGang with Kelvin Kofi Danso (2KD) before taking over eventually.

"So, I'm going to be on 89.9 FM, and in the very immediate situation, I will be on with 2KD on the AreaGang. Oh, I miss that program so much,” he said.

“And then maybe subsequently we'll take over and then we'll see what the Lord will do with us."

Staff of Pluzz 89.9 FM welcomed Nana Lion with cheerfulness reminiscing the good old days with him.
