Popular Ghanaian blogger, Eugene Osafo Nkansah, also known as Nkonkonsa, has given new bloggers some guidance.
In
an exclusive interview with 3Music TV, he urged those who are thinking about blogging
to distinguish themselves by trying something new. He contends that there is
a wide range of topics that people can write about and that they ought to
diversify and bring variety to the field.
He spoke at the celebration of his 40th birthday and 20th year in the media space.
“If you are out there and
you want to come in now, the advice I’ll give you is that sit back, watch
everything that everybody is doing and do what nobody else is doing. A lot of
people are doing celebrity blogging, people are doing politics, fashion and food
but there’s a lot you can do. There’s sports blogging, there’s travel blogging,
there’s even car blogging.”
Nkonkonsa also emphasized
his love for the craft while thanking everyone for their support throughout his
journey.
“It’s something I enjoy
doing. I didn’t know I was working. I thought I was following my passion. For
the past 20 years, I never sat down to think this is the work that I am doing because
I enjoyed it. I thought it was something that keeps me awake at night.”
The birthday bash happened on March 28th at the Airport West Hotel with countless celebrities and industry players in attendance.
