Nigerian rap star ODUMODUBLVCK gave fans an electrifying surprise last night during his headline performance at Truecirs in Houston. Midway through his set, the genre-blending artist previewed an unreleased collaboration featuring UK heavyweight Stormzy and Nigeria’s street-hop king Zlatan.
The crowd erupted as ODUMODUBLVCK debuted a snippet of the hard-hitting track, which fuses grime, afrobeats, and his signature “okporoko” sound. With Stormzy delivering gritty bars and Zlatan injecting his signature street energy, the track promises to be a cultural crossover moment that bridges Lagos to London.
Though a release date hasn’t been announced, the teaser has already sent fans into a frenzy online, with clips from the Houston show trending across platforms. The collaboration marks ODUMODUBLVCK’s latest global move following the success of his 2024 album and high-profile features with African and international acts.
Stay tuned, if the live reaction is anything to go by, this might be one of the biggest African collaborations of the year.
