Saahene Osei, one of the sons of renowned Ghanaian businessman Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, has officially announced the launch of Essence, a limited-edition fashion capsule created in partnership with AJABENG Ghana.
Titled AJABENG, the collection represents a refined exploration of identity, presence and the quiet confidence that defines contemporary African expression. The collaboration brings together AJABENG’s established design philosophy and Saahene Osei’s modern, understated elegance.
According to the creative statement, Essence is built on a disciplined study of selfhood and simplicity, capturing the balance between stillness and strength.
The collection is designed as a limited-edition release, emphasizing exclusivity and intentional craftsmanship. Each piece reflects a thoughtful harmony between form and meaning, positioning the capsule as both a fashion statement and a cultural expression.

As part of the launch, AJABENG Ghana and Saahene Osei will host an exclusive pop-up showcase, where the full Essence capsule will be unveiled to a select audience. Further details regarding the pop-up event are expected to be announced soon.
