Suge Knight Claims Diddy Could Receive Trump Pardon If Convicted in Sex Trafficking Case

Suge Knight Claims Diddy Could Receive Trump Pardon If Convicted in Sex Trafficking Case
Suge Knight & Diddy

In a surprising twist to the ongoing legal saga surrounding Sean "Diddy" Combs, incarcerated former Death Row Records CEO Marion "Suge" Knight has made a bold claim: if Diddy is convicted in his high-profile sex trafficking trial, President Donald Trump may grant him a presidential pardon. Knight’s remarks, reported by HipHopDX, have sparked widespread speculation and debate across social media and entertainment circles.
Speaking from prison, where he is serving a 28-year sentence for voluntary manslaughter, Knight expressed confidence that Diddy has little to fear from his legal troubles. “It might not seem like it when it’s all said and done, but I don’t think he has nothing to worry about, and I don’t think he’s worried because he’s gonna be federal, and if he gets convicted, Trump’s gonna pardon him,” Knight stated. He further suggested that Diddy’s legal team could sway jurors, noting, “I still feel that Puffy is going to be alright and have a fair shot at it. He’s not a dummy. And I’m quite sure somebody going to talk to those jurors and convince one or two of them—that’s all you need, is one.”
Knight’s claims come as Diddy faces serious allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering, with his trial drawing intense media scrutiny. The case has also brought renewed attention to past tensions between Knight and Diddy, who were central figures in the 1990s East Coast-West Coast rap rivalry. Despite their history, Knight has previously expressed sympathy for Diddy’s current predicament, though he denied a specific claim made by Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie during her testimony. Cassie alleged that Diddy once abruptly ended a "freak-off" session to confront Knight at Mel’s Diner in Los Angeles, an incident Knight dismissed, saying, “A good thing they didn’t show up.”
Neither Diddy’s legal team nor representatives for President Trump have commented on Knight’s claims. Trump, who returned to the White House in January 2025, has a history of issuing controversial pardons during his first term, including for figures like Lil Wayne and Kodak Black. However, no evidence currently supports Knight’s assertion of a potential pardon for Diddy.
As Diddy’s trial continues, Knight’s remarks add another layer of intrigue to an already complex case, raising questions about the intersection of celebrity, politics, and justice. Whether Knight’s prediction holds any weight remains to be seen, but it has undeniably reignited public fascination with the embattled music mogul’s fate.
