The First Trailer For IRON HEART Has Been Released

Marvel Studios has unveiled the first official trailer for IRON HEART, the upcoming Disney+ series centered on Riri Williams, a young genius inventor introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The series is set to premiere with a three-episode launch on June 24the, 2025.

In the trailer, Riri, portrayed by Dominique Thorne, returns to her hometown of Chicago after her experiences in Wakanda. There, she embarks on building her own high-tech suit of armor, reminiscent of Tony Stark’s Iron Man, while facing challenges from both skeptical MIT professors and the enigmatic Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood, played by Anthony Ramos. The Hood’s dark magic presents a stark contrast to Riri’s cutting-edge technology, setting the stage for a clash between science and the supernatural.

The series is created by Chinaka Hodge and executive produced by Ryan Coogler, known for directing Black Panther. Other cast members include Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, and Anji White. Ironheart promises to delve into themes of identity, power, and moral ambiguity, as Riri navigates her journey from a brilliant student to a superhero.   

IRON HEART is part of Marvel’s Phase Five and will consist of six episodes. The series aims to explore Riri’s evolution and the ethical dilemmas she faces in her quest to make a mark on the world.
