Will Smith has released a new music video for his song BEAUTIFUL SCARS, featuring Big Sean and OBanga. The video, which premiered on January 30th, 2025, is inspired by THE MATRIX film series, a franchise that Smith has long admired.  

In the video, Smith reenacts the iconic “red pill, blue pill” scene, portraying Neo, while Big Sean takes on the role of Morpheus. The narrative humorously explores the concept of alternate realities, with Smith’s character navigating various action sequences.  

Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, known for their work on the BAD BOYS series, the video features product placements for brands like Chilli Beans sunglasses, Stellantis automobiles, and Webtoons digital comics.  

This release marks a significant return to music for Will Smith, who has been focusing on his acting career in recent years. The collaboration with Big Sean and OBanga has been well-received by fans, who appreciate the creative fusion of music and cinematic homage.
