Organised to mark the end of the Sallah celebrations, this year’s edition expanded into a two-day community-driven event, bringing together music, games and vibrant social interaction.
The festivities kicked off on Friday, March 20, with a lively Olympics-themed day filled with a variety of games and activities designed for both the young and old. Families and community members came together to bond, compete and celebrate in an atmosphere that emphasised unity and togetherness beyond just music.
The main event followed on Saturday, March 21, with an electrifying night of performances from a dynamic lineup of talents including Kojo Blak, Essuman, Lali X Lola, Drupz and Maphya, each delivering captivating sets that kept the crowd engaged throughout the night.
Adding depth and authenticity to the celebration, more than ten emerging artistes from Alajo also mounted the stage, showcasing their talent and representing the voice of the local music scene. Their performances highlighted the steady evolution of Ghana’s grassroots music culture and reinforced the importance of platforms like 3Music TV in discovering, nurturing and amplifying new talent.
Bringing the night to a powerful close was award-winning duo DopeNation, whose electrifying performance stood out as a major highlight. From seamless crowd engagement to commanding stage presence, their set left patrons energised and wanting more.
The event was expertly hosted by Jay Foley, MC Kosty and MC Elikem, whose synergy and charisma kept the momentum alive from start to finish.
