Organizers of Afro Nation have disclosed on social media to make a debut in Nigeria in the celebration of Afrobeat Music. The announcement comes after Nigerian Music Icon, Davido gave a hint of Afro Nation making an appearance in Nigeria during an interview with Hot 97.
The biggest Afro beat Festival made an appearance in Miami, US as part of their line up for the year 2023. The festival had Afro beat artistes like Burna Bwoy, Black Sherrif , Wizkid and many others mounting the stage to perform. Organizers of the show also hints of organizing the event in Portugal and other part of the world this year as they seek to promote Afrobeat Music .
The maiden edition in Lagos, Nigeria comes as an excitement to the Nigerian entertainment industry as Ghana their rival went on a 5year contract with the organizers since 2019 and have been enjoying the event every year.
The co-founder of Afro Nation who doubles as a Nigerian said the aim of the festival is to unite the Diaspora in the home of Afro beat. He further said '' Nigeria is the home to so many International superstars who have made Afro beat a globally loved genre. We can't wait for the biggest celebration of African Music the world has ever seen''
However, organizers of the event are yet to make the exact date for the festival known to the public.
