The weekend came alive as Smoove Hangout 3.0 took over Nexus 9 Lounge & Spaces on Saturday, bringing together young people, creators, music lovers and entertainment enthusiasts for an unforgettable day and night of fun, networking and celebration.
Powered by the support of incredible sponsors and partners including Blockchain, Tixby, Kenkey Express, Strictly Social Africa, Game Zone, PharsCare, Nura, and many others, the event offered attendees a unique blend of interactive experiences and live entertainment.
The day kicked off with a variety of engaging activities designed to bring people together. Guests enjoyed karaoke sessions, competitive video games, sip-and-paint experiences, giant outdoor games and an energetic soundtrack from some of the city’s finest DJs, creating the perfect atmosphere from the very start.


One of the standout attractions of the day was Smoove Play’s Leaderboard Challenge, an innovative gaming experience that rewarded participation. Attendees earned points by taking part in different activities throughout the event, with the highest-ranking participants walking away with exciting cash prizes sponsored by the event’s partners. As the sun set, the event transformed into a vibrant party filled with music, dancing and unforgettable performances. The crowd was treated to an electrifying live set from Lali X Lola, whose performance became one of the night’s biggest highlights.
The entertainment lineup also featured outstanding performances and appearances from Rashez DJ, Romeo Swag, Hypeman AbontenXperience, Lali OnThisOne, MC Nkay, alongside several other talented creatives and surprise guests who kept the energy at its peak well into the night.
