Anitta has made history by becoming the first Brazilian artiste to reach number one on any Billboard Regional Mexican chart with her song LA TÓXICA. This achievement marks a significant milestone in her career, showcasing her ability to transcend genres and connect with audiences worldwide.

LA TÓXICA, has been rising on radio airplay since its appearance on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart in July. The song's success can be attributed to its infectious rhythm and Anitta's captivating vocals. With 6.3 million audience impressions in the U.S. during the September 6-12 tracking week, LA TÓXICA has fortified its position as a chart-topper.

Anitta's accomplishment is not limited to the Regional Mexican chart. She has also become the 10th female soloist to reach number one on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart, joining the ranks of legendary artistes like Selena and Jenni Rivera. This feat demonstrates Anitta's growing influence in the Latin music scene.

As a Brazilian singer, Anitta's success in the Regional Mexican market is an evidence to her versatility and appeal. Her music often blends different styles, from funk to reggaeton, making her a unique force in the industry. With LA TÓXICA, Anitta has proven her ability to adapt to new genres and collaborate with artistes from diverse backgrounds.

Anitta's rise to fame began in Brazil, where she gained widespread recognition with hits like MEIGA E ABUSADA and SHOW DAS PODEROSAS.  Her subsequent albums, including RITMO PERFEITO and BANG, bolstered her position as a leading Brazilian artiste.

In recent years, Anitta has expanded her global reach, collaborating with international artistes like Cardi B and J Balvin. Her song ENVOLVER became a viral hit on TikTok, topping Spotify's Global Top 200 chart and making her the first Brazilian artiste to achieve this feat.

Anitta's success serves as an inspiration to emerging artistes, demonstrating the potential for cross-cultural collaboration and genre-bending music. As she continues to push boundaries and defy expectations, Anitta's legacy as a trailblazing Brazilian artiste will only continue to grow.

With LA TÓXICA reigning supreme on the Billboard Regional Mexican chart, Anitta's star is shining brighter than ever. Her dedication to her craft and willingness to experiment with new sounds have cemented her position as a global music icon
