Ghanaian artiste AraTheJay has released his debut full-length album The Odyssey, a 17-track project that chronicles his evolution from an emerging voice into one of the country’s most dynamic rising stars. The album, available on all major streaming platforms, continues the storyline from his earlier Finding Nimo series.

Signed to Almighty Records and Mass Appeal Records, AraTheJay uses The Odyssey to navigate themes of faith, perseverance and identity. The project reflects his growth following his first EP The Capsule, shifting from a curious newcomer to a more assured artist shaped by challenges and self-discovery.
The album blends African rap, hip-hop, highlife, and Afrobeats, with a strong focus on personal storytelling. Songs such as ZION, COVER ME and GROUND ZERO capture the realities of struggle and renewal, while Put Am On God and Peace 2 highlight spiritual confidence and resilience. Tracks including Ara No Dey Sleep, Motion, and Timeless demonstrate his versatility and emotional depth.

The Odyssey also features prominent collaborations across the continent. Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy appears on Talisman, and Black Sherif joins AraTheJay on the standout track Jesus Christ 2. Bella Shmurda of Nigeria, as well as Kweku Smoke, Beeztrap KOTM, O’Kenneth, Savara (Sauti Sol), and Uganda’s Joshua Baraka, contribute to the record’s diverse sound and broad appeal.
To support the release, AraTheJay will perform headline shows in Europe, including scheduled dates in Amsterdam on November 19, Hamburg on November 21 and London on November 22.
With its expansive sonic range and introspective themes, The Odyssey positions AraTheJay as a significant new force within Ghana’s contemporary music landscape.
