Billie Eilish emerged as the undisputed star of the 2025 American Music Awards, at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, clinching all seven categories she was nominated for. The 23-year-old pop icon, absent due to her European tour, won Artiste of the Year, Album of the Year, and Favorite Pop Album for her 2024 release HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, alongside Song of the Year and Favorite Pop Song for BIRDS OF A FEATHER. She also secured Favorite Touring Artist and Favorite Female Pop Artiste.

In a pre-recorded video, Eilish expressed disbelief, stating, “This is so crazy. I feel speechless.” Her sweep, driven by fan votes, outshone nominees like Kendrick Lamar, who led with 10 nominations but won only Favorite Hip-Hop Song for NOT LIKE US.

Eilish’s HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, her first studio album not to hit No. 1, yet its critical acclaim and fan support fueled her AMA dominance. Posts from  fans celebrated her victories, especially after her 2025 Grammy shutout despite seven nominations. The AMAs, hosted by Jennifer Lopez, marked a triumphant return after a two-year hiatus, with Eilish’s tour, grossing over $200 million globally, securing her Favorite Touring Artiste win.

Her wins surpassed other heavyweights like Beyoncé, who took Favorite Female Country Artiste and Favorite Country Album, and Eminem, who won Favorite Male Hip-Hop Artiste and Favorite Hip-Hop Album. Eilish’s sweep, however, highlights her cultural impact, with HIT ME HARD AND SOFT lauded for its raw lyricism and production. Other winners, including Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars with three awards each, paled in comparison to Eilish’s haul.

Her nine career AMAs, including 2019’s New Artiste of the Year, place her among elite winners. As she continues her global tour, Eilish’s 2025 AMA dominance fortifies her as a generational talent, with fans eagerly awaiting her next chapter.
