Bryson Tiller Releases First Half of Two-Part Album SOLACE & VICES
Bryson Tiller
R&B heavyweight Bryson Tiller has officially launched a bold new chapter in his musical journey with the release of VICES, the first half of his ambitious two-part album titled SOLACE & VICES. The project, which will ultimately span 24 tracks, dropped its initial 12 songs yesterday, with the second half, SOLACE, scheduled for release on October 2nd, 2025.

VICES sees Tiller expanding his sonic boundaries while staying rooted in the smooth, emotive sound that first made him a household name with TRAPSOUL. This new project blends atmospheric R&B, trap-infused beats, and lyrical vulnerability in a way that feels both elevated and deeply personal. It’s a raw dive into themes of temptation, ego, chaos, and inner conflict, all delivered with the laid-back intensity Tiller is known for.

Adding to the excitement is an impressive lineup of guest artists. The VICES release features T-Pain, Rick Ross, Bun B, Luh Tyler, Baby Drill, and more, a mix of Southern legends and new-gen heat that helps push the project into unexpected territory. Each feature brings out a different side of Tiller, showing his versatility not just as a singer, but as a curator of sound and emotion.

While VICES carries the wild, fast-paced energy of late-night thoughts and impulsive decisions, SOLACE, set to arrive in early October, is expected to serve as its emotional counterweight. If VICES explores life’s noise, SOLACE promises the quiet that follows: healing, growth, introspection, and resolution.

Fans and critics alike have already begun calling this era one of Bryson Tiller’s most creatively daring. Social media lit up following the surprise drop, with many praising the project’s depth, features, and sonic direction, noting that it may be his strongest body of work since Anniversary or even TRAPSOUL.

VICES is now available on all major streaming platforms, and the countdown to SOLACE has officially begun. With SOLACE & VICES, Bryson Tiller is not just releasing music he’s telling a two-part story about duality, growth, and the human experience in its most honest form.
