Felicia Nuna Akosua Tawiah, popularly known as Feli Nuna, in a conversation with Culture Squad on Culture Daily disclosed she is no longer signed to Off Da Ground Records.
Fuse ODG’s Off Da Ground signed Feli Nuna in 2020 in a two-year deal. However, according to the singer and rapper, the record label did not impress her with their work hence her decision in refusing to renew the contract.
"I refused to renew my contract because I wasn’t too impressed with how things went. I just felt like my brand needed more marketing and more promo and these were the challenges I faced during the time that I was with them. Before I left there, a figure was presented to me as my next project in the coming year but it wasn’t too encouraging. I learnt so much from Fuse’’
In talking about going independent, the rapper said her numbers have shot through the roof. This is an encouragement to to stay on track and work hard. Feli Nuna further said until she gets the right structure she will not sign unto any record label. In contributing her quota to the industry, she revealed intentions of nurturing new talents in future.
