Ghana Music Xperience App Launched To Revolutionize Ghanaian Music Streaming

On Wednesday, the Ghana Music Xperience (GMX) App, Ghana’s first exclusive digital music streaming platform, was launched at De Icon Event Center in East Legon. The event, attended by artistes, media, and government officials, saw His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of Ghana, serve as the Special Guest of Honour.

The GMX App, available on Google Play and the App Store, offers high-quality streaming, a vast library of Ghanaian music, and features like customizable playlists and podcasts. Artistes also benefit from a Split Sheet feature, providing backend access to detailed statistics on their streams and revenue. A Creator Web Profile offers further tools for analytics, social media integration, and revenue management.

The GMX launch reflects Ghana’s commitment to digital innovation in the music industry. The Minister of Tourism urged all Ghanaian artistes to join the app, envisioning GMX as the go-to platform for local music.
