In a groundbreaking $1 billion agreement with a UAE-based firm, Ghana is set to construct Africa’s largest tech hub, a sprawling 25-square-kilometer innovation zone in Ningo-Prampram. The project aims to position the West African nation as the continent’s leading destination for technology, innovation, and digital outsourcing.



The ambitious development is expected to host over 11,000 global tech companies, including industry giants like Microsoft and Meta, as they seek to expand their African footprint.

Set to become a central hub for AI, data science, cloud computing, and BPO (business process outsourcing), the zone will catalyze digital transformation across Africa while generating thousands of skilled jobs.

Government officials describe the deal as a strategic leap in Ghana’s goal of becoming a digital gateway to Africa, signaling a new era of global tech collaboration and local talent development.

Construction is expected to begin later this year, with phased openings projected over the next decade.
