The Duffissance is officially underway. Actress and pop star Hilary Duff has signed a new record deal with Atlantic Records, marking her highly anticipated return to music. The move paves the way for her first new project since 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out.

In addition to releasing fresh music, Duff will also star in an upcoming docuseries that promises fans an “unfiltered vignette into Hilary’s world.” The project is helmed by acclaimed director Sam Wrench, best known for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour and A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter.

Duff had been teasing her comeback for months. In August, she celebrated the 22nd anniversary of her breakthrough album Metamorphosis with a cryptic sign-off to fans: “To be continued…” — fueling speculation that new music was on the horizon.

The announcement has already sparked excitement across social media, with fans celebrating the revival of one of the early 2000s’ most beloved pop icons. With a new label, new music, and a documentary in the works, Hilary Duff seems ready to usher in the next chapter of her career.
