Singer and songwriter AratheJay has hinted at a new project expected later this year.
Speaking on Culture Daily on 3Music TV, AratheJay confirmed that work on his upcoming project has already been completed.
Although he did not reveal the title of the project, the musician disclosed that it will feature collaborations with artists including GonaBoy and Essumann.
“There’s a lot,” he said while discussing guest appearances on the project.
During the interview, the hosts also questioned AratheJay about rumours circulating on social media regarding a possible joint project with Lyrical Joe.
Rather than denying the reports, the musician gave a cautious response that appeared to leave the door open for such a collaboration.
AratheJay, known for his emotionally driven performances and artistic approach to visuals, also spoke about the importance of being actively involved in the creative direction of his music videos.
“I believe there’s a reason why you made the sound, so you would have a little idea on the visual representation of it,” he explained.
The artist added that he prefers contributing ideas to visual concepts rather than leaving the entire process solely to directors.
Beyond music, AratheJay described himself as someone who preserves energy away from the spotlight until it is time to perform or create.
“This is my life,” he said while discussing the different sides of his personality seen on stage and in music videos.
The musician recently collaborated with Suspect OTB on Ashes, a song both artists described as spiritually inspired and emotionally personal.
