Actor and content creator Jeffrey Nortey has said that preparations are complete for the return of his one-man theatrical production, 3 Faces Jeffrey Nortey.
He said the show will showcase a broader range of his creativity when it hits the National Theatre stage on June 12.
According to him, this year’s edition would differ significantly from last year’s production by combining film, stage performance and his popular comic character, Dragon.
Speaking on Culture Daily on 3 Music TV, Nortey said the show will feature a film segment, a live stage performance and appearances by Dragon, a character that has become one of his most recognisable creations.
Nortey said the concept reflects the different aspects of his career and personality, describing this year’s production as film, stage and street.
The actor revealed that planning for the 2026 show began immediately after last year’s event ended, noting that he started preparations the day after the previous edition.
Last year’s show featured a monologue that addressed social and political issues, a section focused on the Ga language and culture, and a segment centred on street culture.
Nortey said attendance at the previous edition exceeded expectations despite heavy rainfall, adding that the weather was the only factor that prevented an even larger crowd from attending.
The actor indicated that the upcoming production would focus entirely on his own characters and performances, unlike previous editions that featured appearances by other comedians.
The show is scheduled to take place at the National Theatre at 7 p.m.
