Artiste Ye, formerly Kanye West, has relaunched his Yeezy brand with a bold new footwear line, headlined by the YS-01 slide, a reimagined take on the iconic Yeezy Slide, priced at an accessible $20. The announcement, made on August 9, 2025, through his revived yeezy.com website, marks Ye’s first independent footwear venture since parting ways with Adidas in October 2022. The YS-01, alongside the foam-based SLPRS (SL-01) and sock-like YZY PODS, has generated massive buzz, with X posts highlighting Ye’s claim of selling 266,000 YZY PODS in a single day on August 11, 2025, showcasing his enduring influence in fashion.

The YS-01 and additional designs, including the SL-02 slipper and high-heeled footwear, are available for pre-order on yeezy.com, with shipping slated for 6-13 weeks. Ye’s move to price items affordably aligns with his 2024 vision to make Yeezy accessible, as he stated, “I want everything at $20.” This follows Adidas’ clearance of remaining Yeezy stock in 2024, with Ye now fully owning the YS-01 design patent. Fans can also explore his new clothing line, featuring TS-01 shirts and HD-05 jackets, while streaming his latest album, VULTURES 1, with Ty Dolla $ign, reinforcing his creative comeback on major platforms.
