Kendrick Lamar has made history by becoming the first rapper to surpass 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify. This milestone places him among an elite group of artists who have achieved this level of streaming success.

As of February 17th, 2025, Lamar’s monthly listener count reached 100,052,025, according to data from Kworb.net. This achievement follows his recent Super Bowl Halftime Show performance and multiple Grammy.

The exclusive list of artistes who have surpassed 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify includes Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, and now Kendrick Lamar. Bruno Mars currently leads with over 151 million monthly listeners.  

Lamar’s recent releases, such as the chart-topping tracks Not Like Us and Luther, a collaboration with SZA, have significantly contributed to this streaming milestone. Not Like Us gained widespread attention for its controversial lyrics, leading to public discussions and legal disputes, notably with fellow artiste Drake.  

Kendrick Lamar is definitely making a significant moment in hip-hop history.
