Ghanaian music star Kuami Eugene has confirmed the rumors of his departure from Lynx Entertainment, the label that helped launch his career. The "Rockstar" singer made the announcement on social media, when he shared a flier of an upcoming release and stated that the song was produced by himself under the label, ROCKSTAR RECORDS. 



The news comes as a surprise to many fans, as Kuami Eugene has been one of the most prominent artistes under Lynx Entertainment, delivering multiple hits like ANGELA, WISH ME WELL, and OPEN GATE. During his time with the label, he won several awards, including the coveted Artiste of the Year title at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Although he has not officially come out to address the speculations, Kuami Eugene’s decision to go independent has sparked widespread speculation and excitement among fans eager to see what he will bring to the music scene next. The new single is expected to showcase his continued evolution as an artiste, with fans hoping for the same infectious rhythms and memorable lyrics that have made him a household name.
