Cameroonian-American artiste Libianca, born Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji, is poised to drop her latest single, NO WATER, on August 15, 2025, as announced via her official social media and a pre-save link. The track, a follow-up to her 2022 breakout hit PEOPLE and her December 2023 debut EP WALK AWAY, showcases her signature Afro-R&B and soul fusion, transforming everyday experiences into a lyrical masterpiece. Fans are buzzing with anticipation, with posts on X praising Libianca’s emotive storytelling and calling NO WATER a “true representation of talent, hard work, and consistency.”

NO WATER dives deeper into themes of emotional resilience and community support, maintaining the sonic warmth that propelled PEOPLE to No. 2 on the US Billboard Afrobeats chart and No. 1 on the UK Afrobeats chart. Produced with state-of-the-art instrumentals, the single highlights Libianca’s vocal prowess and her ability to weave personal narratives, influenced by her Cameroonian roots and gospel choir upbringing in Bamenda. Following her 2023 BET Award for Best New International Act and performances on Alicia Keys’ KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR, Libianca continues to cement her place in the Afrobeats surge.
