Ghana’s most celebrated rap icon, Sarkodie, is taking his legendary Rapperholic concert series to the heart of the Ashanti Region with a powerful new edition: Rapperholic: The Homecoming. Set for September 27th, 2025, the event will take place at the iconic Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, marking a major cultural moment for fans across the country.

This announcement signals a rare but long-awaited move by the BET Award-winning artiste to bring one of his biggest performance brands outside Accra for the first time on such a grand scale.
Titled The Homecoming, this edition of Rapperholic is more than a concert, it’s a cultural celebration and symbolic return to the roots of Ghanaian hip-hop. Kumasi, often referred to as the soul of Ghanaian music and street culture, has produced some of the country’s fiercest talents and most loyal fanbases.
In a statement on social media, Sarkodie expressed his excitement, saying:
“Kumasi has always shown me love. It’s time I brought Rapperholic home.”
Hosted at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the venue promises to hold tens of thousands of fans in what is expected to be one of the biggest Ghanaian concerts of the year. With a reputation for explosive performances and guest appearances, Rapperholic: The Homecoming is already being hyped as a historic night in Ghanaian live music.
