Dancehall heavyweight Shatta Wale, known globally as the King of African Dancehall, prepares to drop the remix of his hit track STREET CROWN featuring Jamaican superstar Vybz Kartel.

The announcement was accompanied by striking cover art showcasing both artistes, with powerful imagery of a crown surrounded by words such as “survival, grind, scars, hustle, ghetto dreams, and street.” These themes mirror the struggles and triumphs both Shatta Wale and Vybz Kartel often capture in their music, stories of resilience, strength, and loyalty to the streets.

While an official release date is yet to be confirmed, anticipation is already building across social media and within the dancehall community. For many fans, the collaboration marks a defining moment, merging the energy of Africa’s leading dancehall export with one of Jamaica’s most influential voices in the genre.

Shatta Wale has consistently championed African dancehall on the global stage, while Vybz Kartel’s dominance in Caribbean dancehall is undisputed despite his long absence from public life.
