Fintech remittance company Taptap Send has paid a courtesy visit to Ghana’s newly appointed High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Her Excellency Sabah Zita Benson, as well as her deputy, Aquinas Quansah, to congratulate them on their appointments and reinforce ongoing collaboration.
The visit, which took place at the Ghana High Commission in London, served as an opportunity for Taptap Send to express appreciation for the mission’s continuous support in strengthening the Ghana–UK remittance corridor. According to the company, the High Commissioner’s guidance has played a key role in expanding their impact within the Ghanaian diaspora community.
During the meeting, Taptap Send’s Head of Africa, Mawutor Abraham, reiterated the company’s mission to not only provide safe and reliable money transfer services but also actively give back to the communities they serve. He noted that initiatives such as the Ghana Card registration drive and numerous diaspora engagement projects have been made possible through close partnership with the High Commission.
Her Excellency Sabah Zita Benson commended Taptap Send for its strong community presence and expressed enthusiasm for deepening the partnership. She praised the company’s consistent efforts in supporting Ghanaians abroad and contributing to economic development back home.
In line with its community-focused approach, Taptap Send announced a special 1.5% cashback offer on all transfers to Ghana until the 24th of this month. The incentive aims to reward customers while helping them better support their families and loved ones in Ghana.
The High Commissioner encouraged continued collaboration between the Ghana mission and Taptap Send, emphasizing the importance of partnerships that benefit both the diaspora and the national economy.
