Teyana Taylor has revealed the full tracklist for her highly anticipated album Escape Room, arriving August 22nd, 2025, marking her first full-length release in five years.




The 22-track project blends music and storytelling, with narration from Hollywood heavyweights including Taraji P. Henson, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash, Jodie Turner-Smith, Issa Rae, Kerry Washington, and Regina King. On the music side, Taylor teams up with Lucky Daye, Jill Scott, Tyla, and Kaytranada, while also featuring her daughters Rue Rose and Junie Shumpert on the closing track.

Described by Teyana Taylor as a “universal charger” for the soul, Escape Room promises a cinematic listening experience, merging R&B, soul, and Afro-fusion with deeply personal themes. The project reflects Taylor’s evolution as an artist and her return to music on her own terms after stepping away from the industry in 2020.
